Job Description: One of our subsidiary companies, OPTIMUM WATER RESOURCES CORPORATION, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team.

About Us: Optimum Water Resources Corporation, popularly known as AMLAN Purified Bottled Drinking Water, is a 100% Filipino-owned and managed company. Its main office is located in Amlan, Negros Oriental, with satellite offices in various areas across the Visayas and Mindanao.

About the Role: A Branch Cashier is responsible for managing cash and check collections, ensuring that all transactions are accurate, properly documented, and intact on a daily basis. The role also involves managing the branch petty cash fund and ATM card, maintaining custody of postdated checks, and ensuring the proper storage and management of financial documents. Among the responsibilities of the role are:

· Receive and verify cash and check collections from salesmen.

· Receive, properly secure, and maintain custody of postdated checks from customers and suppliers.

· Verify the validity and completeness of postdated checks, including dates, signatures, and amounts.

· Prepare and maintain accurate records of daily collections and other cash transactions.

· Prepare and submit monthly collection reports to Head Office as required.

· Manage the branch petty cash fund and ATM card, ensuring sufficient funds for authorized branch expenses.

· Replenish the petty cash fund as needed and ensure compliance with company guidelines, including the prohibition against using collected funds for branch expenses or operations.

· Prepare an Incident Report for any discrepancies in salesmen’s remittances and report them to the appropriate personnel.

· Serve as the custodian of financial documents, including delivery receipts, sales invoices, collection receipts, and other related records.

· Ensure proper filing, safekeeping, and accessibility of financial documents for monitoring and audit purposes.

· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

About You: The ideal candidate must have the following:

· At least 1 year of relevant work experience in cashiering, cash handling, or a related role

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related course

· Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Good decision-making skills and sound judgment

· Ability to understand and properly follow work requirements and procedures

· Detail-oriented, particularly when handling cash, checks, and financial documents

· Trustworthy and responsible in handling company funds and confidential documents

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
