Job Overview

Mashahweez Shawarma & Grill is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Cashier to join our team in Vienna, VA. We are a fast-paced Iraqi shawarma and grill restaurant focused on great food and excellent customer service.

As a Cashier, you’ll be one of the first people our customers interact with. We’re looking for someone who is welcoming, communicates well, works quickly, and can stay organized during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take dine-in, takeout, and online orders accurately
• Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments
• Answer customer questions about menu items
• Package and organize orders and make sure customers receive the correct items
• Communicate with kitchen staff to keep orders moving efficiently
• Keep the front counter, dining area, and beverage station clean and organized
• Refill sauces, utensils, napkins, drinks, and other front-of-house supplies
• Help with opening and closing duties
• Work as a team during busy lunch and dinner rushes

• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Restaurant or cashier experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Weekend and evening availability is a plus
