Cashier

Rui Tea is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to support daily tea shop operations. The role involves welcoming customers, taking orders, processing payments accurately, answering basic menu questions, and helping maintain a clean and organized service area. The ideal candidate is attentive, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy customer-service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and confirm order details.
• Process cash, card, and other customer payments through the point-of-sale system.
• Answer basic questions about menu items and available options.
• Prepare or assist with customer orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout and service area.
• Restock cups, lids, straws, ingredients, and other supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and store procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team members during busy periods.
• Assist with opening and closing duties when scheduled.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, retail, restaurant, café, or customer service experience is helpful.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to learn menu items, POS procedures, and store policies.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
