Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency
• Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times
• Assist customers with product demos and provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell items effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, stocking supplies and merchandising products as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining phone etiquette
• Support inventory management through stocking shelves and participating in merchandising efforts
• Promote store promotions and sales initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities

Experience

• Previous cashier experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and calculating change confidently
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to engage customers, explain product features, and promote sales
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and retail math principles

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
