Duties

• Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information or store policies.
• Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales.
• Upsell related products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store revenue.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with merchandising to ensure the store remains inviting and well-organized.
• Handle retail sales transactions smoothly, including returns, exchanges, and processing discounts or promotions.
• Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or coordinating with team members to ensure clear communication.

Skills

• Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems for quick and accurate transactions.
• Previous supervising experience is a plus for guiding new team members or assisting during busy periods.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of retail store products, merchandising techniques, and basic retail math for accurate pricing and transaction handling.
• Experience in cashiering, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy at all times.
• Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication over calls.
• Ability to perform retail sales transactions efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.
