Cashier

Mi-Lady Corset Shop is seeking a friendly and dependable Cashier to support customers and daily store operations. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, assist shoppers with general store questions, maintain an organized checkout area, and support the team in providing a welcoming retail experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, professional service
• Process purchases and payments accurately using the POS system
• Handle cash, card, and other approved payment methods
• Assist customers with general product, pricing, and store-related questions
• Provide receipts and assist with routine checkout requests
• Keep the register and front-counter area clean and organized
• Help maintain neat and presentable merchandise displays
• Restock merchandise, bags, packaging, and store supplies as needed
• Assist with general customer-service and sales-floor activities
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and store management
• Follow company procedures for transactions, safety, and customer service
• Support opening, closing, and other daily store duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, retail, sales, or customer-service experience is helpful
• Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to customers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Good attention to detail and transaction accuracy
• Comfortable working in a customer-focused retail environment
• Able to remain organized during busy periods
• Willingness to learn POS systems and store procedures
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
