CASHIER

Job Summary

Responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining proper cash-handling procedures while providing courteous and professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Accurately process customer orders and payments through the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and other approved payment methods.
• Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Count and verify cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate cash and transaction records and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Assist customers with menu, product, pricing, and payment-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and FOH team to ensure orders are processed correctly and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain sufficient change and cashiering supplies.
• Follow company procedures for discounts, refunds, voids, cancellations, and other adjustments.
• Keep the cashier counter and surrounding area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Assist in maintaining proper product and packaging inventory at the cashier station.
• Observe company policies on cash security, food safety, sanitation, grooming, and customer service.
• Support opening and closing cashiering procedures.
• Assist with other FOH duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate; hospitality, business, or related education is an advantage.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience, preferably in F&B, retail, or hospitality.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and payment processing.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling money.
• Honest, reliable, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
