Cashier

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions, providing customers with detailed descriptions of our signature coffees and ensuring everybody is in a good mood! Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and satisfied. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist in all questions regarding our coffee
• Manage cash handling procedures, including counting cash, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end
• Guide customers in finding drinks and food that best fits their needs
• Maintain organized displays, stock products, and ensure the sales area is clean and inviting
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as marking low inventory, restocking beans, restocking all cups/lids and participating in regular stock counts
• Assist the team in cleaning task such as sweeping the lobby, mopping the bar, wiping down tables, and grabbing dishes
• Aid in opening and closing the store while following proper procedures.
• Be knowledgeable in all aspects of foods and drinks in order to answer questions efficiently and correctly

Qualifications

• Previous cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing math calculations
• Demonstrated leadership and team skills are advantageous for supporting team initiatives
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, to interact confidently with customers and team members
• Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, stock management, and Cafe operations is highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
