Cashier

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a punctual, team-oriented individual who is well-oriented, quick to learn, and capable of managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential, along with maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace. Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is a plus.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Handle all cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding area
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quick service without compromising accuracy
• Assist customers with inquiries and direct them as needed
• Operate coffee machines or related equipment as required
• Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including working during weekends and holidays
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Well-organized with attention to detail, especially in cash handling
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Maintains a clean and professional appearance
• Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
