About the Role

Makin’s Supermart is looking for a reliable, honest and customer-friendly Cashier/Billing Executive to join our supermarket team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the billing/POS system and generate accurate bills.
• Handle cash, UPI, card and other payment methods.
• Maintain accurate cash and billing records.
• Check product prices, quantities, discounts and offers.
• Handle customer queries related to billing.
• Process returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Maintain a clean and organized billing counter.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and shift handover.
• Coordinate with store staff regarding product prices and offers.
• Provide polite and professional customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier, billing executive or supermarket staff preferred.
• Basic computer and POS/billing software knowledge.
• Good cash-handling skills.
• Basic communication skills.
• Honest, punctual and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
• Freshers with good communication and basic computer skills may also apply.

Salary & Benefits
