Cashier

A cashier manages customer transactions and provides excellent service. Core duties involve operating cash registers, processing payments, scanning merchandise, and balancing the cash drawer. They are the face of the business, tasked with resolving complaints, ensuring pricing accuracy, and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area. , Key Responsibilities

• Process Transactions: Accurately scan items, process cash and card payments, handle coupons, and issue change or receipts.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, provide product information, and resolve concerns or complaints.
• Cash Management: Count the money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Inventory & Store Upkeep: Bag or wrap purchased items, process returns and exchanges, and occasionally assist with stocking shelves.
• Store Policies: Adhere to safety, security, and anti-theft policies, including verifying age for restricted items like alcohol or tobacco.

Essential Requirements & Skills

• Math Skills: Basic mathematical abilities to rapidly calculate change, process discounts, and balance cash drawers.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create a positive shopping experience.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy when handling money and scanning products to prevent shortages and pricing errors.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks like scanning and bagging.
• Tech-Savviness: Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with electronic Point-of-Sale (POS) systems or cash registers

Pay: Php695.00 - Php696.00 per day
