Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
• Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
• Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain clean and organized checkout areas while merchandising products at the register for easy access
• Stock shelves and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability and presentation
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely when needed
• Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions about products or gas prices, and resolving complaints professionally.
• Stocking shelves and freezer

Experience

• Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures essential for accuracy and efficiency
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Previous supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
• Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and retail math calculations
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, or retail sales enhances your ability to succeed in this role
