Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash drawer handling
• Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage stock levels by assisting with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining product knowledge of store offerings
• Handle all cash handling procedures responsibly, ensuring accuracy in retail math calculations and transaction processing
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Support the store team with general duties such as cleaning work areas, organizing merchandise, and assisting with inventory management

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training or guiding new team members
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve diverse customer needs
• Strong communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to upsell effectively are essential for success in this position
• Experience with merchandising, product demos, and stock management will help you excel in supporting store operations
