Cashier

Triano's Pizza is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to support daily restaurant operations and provide efficient service to guests. This role involves welcoming customers, taking dine-in and takeout orders, processing payments, answering basic menu questions, organizing completed orders, and helping maintain a clean and organized front counter. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, and comfortable working in a busy pizza restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take dine-in, takeout, and pickup orders accurately.
• Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other approved payments.
• Answer basic questions about pizza, menu items, pricing, and restaurant offerings.
• Confirm order details and communicate special requests clearly with kitchen staff.
• Provide receipts and assist with routine customer requests.
• Organize completed orders for pickup, takeout, or dine-in service.
• Keep the register, counter, and front-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Restock bags, containers, napkins, utensils, and other service supplies.
• Assist kitchen and restaurant team members during busy service periods.
• Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties as assigned.
• Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
• Communicate customer concerns or order issues to the appropriate team member.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, pizza restaurant, restaurant, café, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to customers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable learning POS and payment procedures.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
