Cashier

New Orleans gives people plenty of reasons to find a great outfit. One customer is getting ready for a night out; another is visiting and wants something they will love wearing long after the trip. We are looking for a Cashier who enjoys those conversations, brings great energy to a busy clothing store, and helps every customer leave feeling good about what they found.

This role takes you across the sales floor and checkout. You will help people explore clothing and accessories, offer honest suggestions on fit and styling, and ring up purchases accurately. You will work with a lively team and meet a mix of local shoppers and visitors, so the day moves quickly and the conversations are rarely the same.

Your shift, from first hello to checkout

• Welcome customers and find out what they are shopping for, whether they have a specific outfit in mind or are just browsing.
• Help shoppers compare styles, sizes, colors, and accessories without making the experience feel rushed.
• Keep fitting rooms moving and return clothing to the right place so the floor stays easy to shop.
• Operate the register, take card and cash payments, and explain prices or promotions clearly.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to store procedures, asking a supervisor for help when needed.
• Replenish popular sizes, tidy displays, and let the team know when something is running low.
• Work together during busy periods so customers get attention and the checkout line keeps moving.

You are friendly, attentive, and comfortable starting a conversation. You enjoy clothes and personal style, but you do not need to know every trend or have worked in fashion before. You can stay upbeat when the store gets busy, pay attention when handling purchases, and lend a hand wherever the team needs you.

This is a full-time, shift-based role with weekdays and weekends on a rotating schedule. Shifts are generally planned around 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Sunday, with the rota shared in advance.
