Duties

• Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately
• Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash drawer balancing with precision
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos
• Upsell products and promotions to enhance sales opportunities and improve store revenue
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store presentation
• Maintain phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries
• Support product demos and educate customers on features and benefits of various items

Requirements

• Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers in a friendly manner
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving a wider range of customers effectively
• Basic math skills for handling transactions, making change, and managing retail math calculations accurately
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
• Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices is beneficial
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for creating positive shopping experiences
