Cashier

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

*Duties*

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service

• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services

• Operate cash registers, third party delivery tablets, and credit card/debit card terminals

• Handle returns and customer issues in a professional manner

• Promote special sales and offers to customers

• Perform basic cleaning duties throughout the day and/or at closing such as sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal

*Qualifications*

• Previous experience in cash handling and customer service preferred

• Proficient in retail math and basic math skills

• Ability to discuss product details with customers and make suggestions

• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

• Being proactive and a team player is a MUST. On small teams, everyone's effort matters!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
