Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey
• Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash drawer handling
• Upsell products and promote store promotions or product demos to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of store products, merchandising standards, and current promotions to assist customers effectively
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
• Answer customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette and direct them to appropriate departments when needed

Requirements

• Prior experience with POS systems, cash register operations, or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling and retail math accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team efforts during busy periods
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for retail transactions
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
