Job Summary

Bottega Louie is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join the team. The successful candidate will welcome guests, process orders and payments accurately, answer menu questions, maintain a clean and organized service area, and support smooth daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate provides professional service and works well in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food, beverage, and bakery orders accurately
• Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other payments
• Handle transactions accurately and provide correct change when required
• Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options
• Ensure orders are entered accurately and communicated to the appropriate team members
• Prepare packaging, utensils, condiments, and other service items as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier and service area
• Restock supplies, packaging, beverages, and other front-of-house items
• Assist with order pickup and ensure guests receive the correct orders
• Follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist team members during busy service periods
• Report payment, equipment, inventory, or guest-service concerns to management
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily restaurant duties
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by restaurant management

Requirements

• Previous cashier, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food-service experience is preferred but not required
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic cash-handling and POS experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
