Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and confidence
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
• Assist customers with product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
• Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Experience

• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
• Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments will help you excel in this role
