Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service while accurately handling transactions. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the point of sale (POS) system, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers, and contributing to the overall success of To Go operations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to work to work Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Valentine's Day, Easter, and Mothers Day

Duties

• Operate the POS system to process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness at the checkout area and throughout the store.
• Utilize effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.

Experience

• Previous experience in restaurants is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience with phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns.

Job Type: Part-time
