Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash drawer handling and cash handling procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, offering product demos, and guiding them through their purchase decisions.
• Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain knowledge of retail store products, merchandising standards, and current promotions to enhance customer engagement.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Support in inventory management by participating in stocking activities and inventory counts as directed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive dining experience for all customers.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic retail math is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise, are essential.
• Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques will help maximize sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of retail merchandising standards and stock management practices will support your success in this role.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
