About the role
We are looking for a friendly and responsible Cashier to join our team. The role involves handling customer payments, operating the cash register, and providing good customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and e-wallet payments accurately
- Issue receipts and handle daily cash transactions
- Assist customers with basic enquiries and requests
- Maintain an organised and clean cashier counter
- Check prices, promotions, and product information when required
- Perform daily cash counts and report any discrepancies
- Assist with restocking and other store duties when needed
- Follow company procedures for cash handling and customer service
About you
- Friendly, responsible, and customer-oriented
- Basic numeracy and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
- Basic computer or POS system knowledge is an advantage
