Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests, taking customer orders, processing payments accurately, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, has a positive attitude, works well with others, and is committed to creating a great dining experience for every customer. Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Requirements

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and digital payments.
• Take customer orders and enter them correctly into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked cashier station.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Ability to operate or learn a POS system quickly.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-player mindset.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
