Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and responsible Cashier to join our Finance team .

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily cash and payment transactions, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring all transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash, cheque, card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Receive customer payments and issue accurate receipts and payment acknowledgements .
• Verify payment details and supporting documentation before processing transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash collections and financial transactions .
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and closing activities .
• Ensure physical cash balances correspond with system records and immediately report discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain daily collection and transaction reports .
• Coordinate with the Finance and Accounts teams regarding collections, deposits, reconciliations, and outstanding transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate bank deposits and maintain supporting documentation.
• Maintain proper filing of receipts, payment records, deposit slips, and other financial documents.
• Respond professionally to customer queries regarding payments and receipts.
• Follow established cash-handling procedures, internal controls, and company policies .
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling customer and financial information.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required transaction records and documentation.
• Immediately escalate any cash discrepancies, suspicious transactions, or payment-related issues to the relevant supervisor.
• Perform other cashiering and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field .
• Previous experience as a Cashier, Accounts Cashier, Finance Cashier, or similar role .
• Experience handling high-volume financial transactions and cash collections is preferred.
• Good understanding of cash handling, reconciliation, receipts, and basic accounting procedures .
• Strong numerical skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, or payment systems will be an advantage.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential financial information.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Trustworthy, responsible, organized, and capable of working under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment .
• UAE experience and previous experience within the real estate/developer sector will be an advantage.
