Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions and handling cash, credit, and mobile payments.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and providing product information.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandising displays are neat and stocked appropriately.
• Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to support overall store presentation.
• Handle cash drawer balancing at the start and end of shifts with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills by engaging with customers politely via phone etiquette or in person to address inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred; familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are essential for delivering excellent customer service.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
• Ability to perform cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.40 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
