Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and benefits to customers
• Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure a clean, organized store environment
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales preferred
• Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to oversee team tasks is a plus
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
