Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service through active listening and helpful assistance
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts
• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Promote upselling opportunities by recommending additional products or services that meet customer needs
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries

Skills

• Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations with strong cash handling skills
• Previous experience in retail or customer service environments is a plus
• Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations and cash transactions
• Knowledge of retail store product offerings, merchandising principles, and inventory stocking procedures
• Experience with cashiering tasks such as balancing cash drawers and processing returns or exchanges
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally via phone or in person

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
