CASHIER

About the role

Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team on a full-time basis in Lapaz, Iloilo City. As a Cashier, you will be a key member of our administrative and office support operations, responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our business and upholding the highest standards of financial accuracy and customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Processing cash, cheque, and card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Balancing cash registers and reconciling daily transactions at the end of each shift
• Issuing receipts and maintaining detailed records of all financial transactions
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving payment-related issues professionally
• Maintaining a clean and organized cashier station
• Following all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
• Assisting with administrative tasks as required to support office operations
• Reporting discrepancies and potential issues to management promptly

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar cash-handling role
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability and punctuality
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness when handling cash and sensitive information
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with spreadsheet applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A graduate of any 4-year course
