Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily cash register operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth transaction processes. This role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to manage cash drawers accurately. The Cashier will also assist with answering phone calls, taking food orders, gathering customer orders, and efficiently cashing out customers to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.

Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during transactions
• Handle cash drawer management, including counting and balancing at the beginning and end of shifts
• Process customer payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment methods
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
• Take food orders from customers over the phone or in person
• Gather and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
• Follow all safety and security procedures related to cash handling

Skills

• Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
