Duties

• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions with accuracy.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide information on promotions and sales.
• Perform stock duties, including restocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
• Conduct product demos to engage customers and promote new items.
• Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Skills

• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers.
• Familiarity with retail sales practices, particularly in grocery store settings.
• Ability to stock shelves efficiently and maintain inventory levels.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
