The Department coordinates activities to enhance patient and staff satisfaction.Position Summary The Sales Assistant provides basic point-of-sale customer and inventory assistance for a retail or sales operation of the university (e.g., customer service, cashiering, cleaning, displaying, stocking merchandise on the retail floor). This position in Nutrition Services is responsible for cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services purchases through the Seasons Cafeteria.Minimum Education RequiredPer Classified Civil Svc SpecsRequired QualificationsSix months experience (600 hrs. coursework) in customer service, preferably in a sales/retail environment; 6 mos. experience (600 hrs coursework) in record keeping; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
