Job Summary

Canton Express is looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Cashier / Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role involves serving customers at the front counter while also assisting with basic kitchen preparation and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Process cash, debit, and credit card payments.
• Answer phone orders.
• Pack takeout and delivery orders accurately.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen.
• Restock supplies and packaging.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Help with opening and closing duties.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service or restaurant experience is an asset.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Food Handler Certification is required.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
