Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change
• Assist customers with food service orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment while upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling procedures
• Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food assembly or packaging in accordance with safety guidelines
• Manage customer inquiries courteously, providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and ensuring overall sanitation of the food service area during your shift

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
• Strong background in food handling, safety management, and restaurant operations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
• Excellent math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
