Duties

• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct billing for all orders.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling to enhance their experience.
• Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail, wine, spirits, and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Handle cash and credit card payments efficiently while balancing registers at shift end; process cash transactions with precision.
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and sanitation to uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Support guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or cocktail options, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy hours such as nightclubs or fine dining settings to ensure timely service and smooth operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, including restaurant experience or nightclub service.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; previous cashiering experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately; experience with drink service and upselling techniques is desirable.
• Culinary experience or beverage knowledge such as spirits or wine expertise enhances your ability to serve confidently in fine dining or beverage-focused environments.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required by nightlife or restaurant hours; nightclub or hospitality experience is advantageous.
