Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change
• Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and maintain smooth operations
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards and food safety protocols throughout your shift
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales and promote menu items effectively
• Operate kitchen equipment safely when required, supporting overall food handling and preparation efforts

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
• Strong background in cashiering, retail sales transactions, and POS system operation
• Food handling and food safety management experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability in time management, multitasking, and working efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of culinary practices or café experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
