About the role

The COD Administrator / Cashier is responsible for managing, monitoring, reconciling, and documenting Cash on Delivery (COD) collections from riders, couriers, and delivery personnel. The role ensures the accurate recording of collections, proper safekeeping of cash, timely bank deposits, and reconciliation of COD transactions in accordance with company policies and financial procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify COD remittances from riders, couriers, and delivery personnel.
• Reconcile daily COD collections against delivery records, tracking numbers, system reports, and collection summaries.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, shortages, overages, and unremitted collections.
• Ensure all COD transactions are accurately recorded and updated in the system.
• Receive, count, verify, and safeguard cash collections and other payment instruments.
• Maintain accurate daily cash records and ensure proper accountability for all funds received.
• Prepare cash count sheets, collection summaries, and other supporting documents.
• Prepare and facilitate the timely deposit of COD collections to designated company bank accounts.
• Prepare daily COD collection, reconciliation, and deposit reports.
• Maintain organized records of collection receipts, deposit slips, remittance documents, and transaction reports.
