Duties

• Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring freshness and quality
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and cashier counters
• Assist with food safety procedures, proper food handling, and adherence to health regulations
• Support food service operations by bussing tables, managing food delivery to customers, and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods in a fast-paced setting
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in a café or retail grocery store is beneficial but not required
