Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation appeal
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales, orders, and payments accurately
• Manage customer orders efficiently, providing friendly service while upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
• Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions with precision and maintaining balanced cash drawers at shift end
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout all food handling activities
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other culinary tools necessary for quick service food preparation
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a positive dining experience in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or quick service restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, handling food safely, and maintaining sanitation standards
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable; basic math skills are essential for cash handling
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols diligently
• Retail sales or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn new skills is essential
