Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with speed and precision
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries
• Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits of key items, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in stocking shelves and merchandising displays to keep the store organized and inviting
• Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear and helpful information
• Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and product placement activities

Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling better service to a wider range of shoppers
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing cash drawers
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising practices is advantageous
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are beneficial for team collaboration
• Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately during busy periods
