Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and answering questions about merchandise
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance product visibility and appeal
• Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
• Support stocking and inventory management tasks to ensure shelves are replenished promptly and accurately

Requirements

• Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings is a plus
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration
• Basic math skills for handling transactions, retail math calculations, and giving correct change confidently
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is beneficial
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and a positive attitude toward teamwork

Base pay: $16/hr plus tips
