Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service.
• Build relationships with regular customers and make new customers feel welcome.
• Operate the POS system and process purchases, fuel transactions, and payments accurately.
• Handle cash responsibly, issue receipts, and balance your cash drawer.
• Answer questions and recommend products or specials that fit customers’ needs.
• Listen to customer concerns, respond professionally, and involve management when needed.
• Use good judgment about when to engage in conversation and when customers need quick service.
• Follow store policies, age-verification procedures, and daily checklists.
• Take initiative, contribute ideas, and work with management to improve service and encourage repeat business.
• Support teammates and communicate clearly throughout your shift.

Your primary responsibility will be cashiering and providing excellent customer service. You will also assist with other store duties as needed to support the team and keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a gas station cashier is required.
• Experience operating POS systems, processing fuel transactions, and handling cash accurately.
• Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills.
• A genuinely friendly, approachable personality and a professional attitude.
• Dependability, punctuality, honesty, and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm, courteous, and accurate during busy periods.
• Willingness to follow established procedures, learn, and contribute practical ideas.
• Availability to work eight-hour shifts.
