Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
We are a breakfast/ lunch restaurant seeking enthusiastic and self sufficient individuals to join our team as Cashier/ Counter Help. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their orders, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic setting, we want to hear from you! Morning and weekday availability all year round is a must!

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
• Operate the POS system and cash register accurately to process transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and restaurant.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in food preparation is beneficial but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
