Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions and cash drawer management with integrity.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting with product selection, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Manage phone etiquette professionally when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
• Support supervising staff during busy periods, helping with training or guiding new team members as needed.

Skills

• Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, pricing, and sales calculations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively, Bilingual a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all shoppers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge or interest in plants and gardening is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $17.75 per hour
