Cashier/Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations.
• Prepare food items following safety standards and company recipes, ensuring quality and presentation meet expectations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare a variety of menu items in a timely manner.
• Upsell menu items and suggest add-ons to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining surfaces, and equipment, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Manage food handling procedures responsibly to ensure proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices are followed at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with high-volume food industry environments.
• Proven skills in cashiering, retail sales transactions, and operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Customer service experience with a focus on serving guests with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register balances.
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and handling food safely is desirable for seamless service delivery.
