We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Part Time Cashier to join our retail team. Duties

• Operate POS systems efficiently and accurately process customer transactions
• Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity
• Maintain knowledge of store products to assist with product demos and upselling opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
• Restock shelves, merchandise displays, and organize products to ensure an appealing shopping environment
• Assist with stocking and merchandising to promote sales and enhance store presentation
• Engage customers through friendly phone etiquette and effective communication skills
• Support sales initiatives by promoting store promotions and loyalty programs

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or retail environments
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Experience in supervising or leading teams is a plus but not required
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
• Knowledge of retail math, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
