Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management with precision.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos.
• Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, appealing, and well-merchandised.
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries.
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items.
• Support supervisory staff by supervising team members during shifts when needed and ensuring store policies are followed.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and retail math calculations.
• Supervising experience is a plus; ability to lead by example and support team members.
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on friendly, professional interaction.
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies is advantageous.
