Duties

• Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and balancing the cash drawer at shift end
• Deliver product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items, enhancing their shopping experience
• Assist customers with questions regarding store products, promotions, and services using excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
• Upsell complementary products or services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure proper merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store
• Support inventory management by participating in stocking activities and conducting stock counts as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, guiding shoppers through store layouts, and ensuring a welcoming environment

Experience

• Previous experience in dealership is highly preferred
• Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling
• Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, product knowledge, and merchandising principles will help you excel in this role
• Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette to engage confidently with customers and team members
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
