Duties

• Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer balancing
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness to create an inviting shopping environment
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions swiftly while ensuring accuracy in sales recording
• Apply phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone, maintaining professionalism at all times
• Support team members with supervising experience by guiding new staff on store procedures and customer interaction standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales purposes
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
• Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer responsibly and maintain accurate cash handling procedures

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
