Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging sales through effective upselling strategies.
• Manage retail sales transactions efficiently, ensuring all purchases are processed correctly using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains attractive, accessible, and well-merchandised.
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication channels.
• Assist with merchandising efforts to promote featured products and seasonal displays aligned with store standards.
• Support inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock counts, and participating in inventory audits as needed.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide seamless service to customers.
• Engage in basic retail math to handle transactions accurately and manage sales reports efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn!
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially if you've led teams or trained new staff members.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math will help you excel in this role.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
